Thank you to everyone who made our Night to Unite event a success. Attendance included SJL members, neighbors, Loaves and Fishes participants, and friendly dogs. We enjoyed an abundant picnic meal and visits from the Police and Fire Departments.

 

Thank you also for your generous donations to the CAP agency.

 

 

Saber Nation Station Drive

August means preparing for the school year ahead. Heading into fall we will be collecting items to donate to the Saber Nation Station, a resource room in each school where students can access items they need to help break down any barriers to success. These items are offered to students free of charge.

 

Items to donate: Deodorant, Chapstick, Shampoo/Conditioner, Travel size lotion, Toothpaste, Body wash/soap, Feminine products, Socks(all sizes), and underwear(all sizes). We will be collecting items through  September 7^th.

Looking for an Easy Way

to get Involved at St. John’s?

The Management and Properties Team could use your help!  We’d love to get a proper committee formed to ease the load currently shouldered by a few.  We would have short, informal meetings on a semi-monthly basis.  Ways to contribute could include mowing, spring/fall clean-ups, minor snow clean-up, painting projects, etc.  Contact the church office or Mike Laurel to hear more.
