St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Shakopee is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our local church was founded in 1860 and we have been at our current location at Eighth Avenue and Fuller Street since 1953.
The members of St. John’s extend a warm welcome to everyone and invite you to make St. John’s your church home. We preach and proclaim the teachings and Gospels of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Through a variety of activities and programs, we seek to provide fellowship and a sense of community, as we are all children of God. We respect all people as individuals and welcome all - the young and the elderly, single or married, new residents or anyone looking for a church home.
St. John’s is a church young at heart, yet richly blessed with valued traditions. We welcome anyone who would like to share the word of Christ with us!
