Activities

Church Activities
Programs and activities are provided for all members of St. John’s. We invite everyone to participate in these activities!

For the Children and Youth
Our Sunday school through Confirmation includes classes for pre-kindergarten through ninth graders. There are also classes for senior high students. Various Bible camps and retreats are held during the year. For more information visit the Youth page.

For the Adults
Various activities are available throughout the year including the Men’s Club, Book Club, Mom’s Club, Prayer Chain, and Small Group Ministries. Adult Bible study, forums and seminars are also held throughout the year. Each week we lead a worship service at the Minnesota Correctional Facility for Women. Every other week, we lead a worship service at one of the Nursing Care Facilities here in Shakopee.

Music Program
An outstanding music program is available at St. John’s. The church has an excellent staff and program. We believe music is an integral part of our spiritual experience and invite all to participate. In addition to our Senior Choir, Handbell Choir and Celebration Singers, we invite all members and groups to share their musical gifts with us. For more information contact Eileen Berge at info@stjohns-shakopee.com.
